	In connection with my visit to RIMS May 23, I plan
to visit Japan for a week or two before or after.  Richard Weyhrauch
tells me that you have a plan for a meeting on some interesting
subject; he told me what, but I forgot.  Is this within a short
time of May 23?  I would also like your recommendations as to
where else I will find common interests in Japan.

	Besides visiting Japan on that trip, I will also visit
Taiwan, and I would like to be able to inform my hosts there
about what dates will be most feasible.
